Hello i have a 2009 chevy cobalt ss i recently purchased. It is currently not drivable because it won’t engage into gear while the car is running. When the car is off the car perfectly shifts through all gears. I have ordered the master clutch cylinder because the person who sold it to me suggested i try that first. Hoping to get installed soon, can any one tell me dose this sound like a bad clutch system? Or kit i dont know how to properly word it. Thanks for any suggestions.
Yea apparently that's what happens when you break the master cylinder, I would check the slave cylinder too and see if it's leaking, buy some brake fluid to fill up the resivour
So, did the new master clutch cylinder worked? My friend is looking at this SS with the same issue when the engine is running. We'll just finish installing the exhaust kit from 4 Wheelonline on the truck this weekend before we take a closer look at the car.
