That game totally rocked. They had me worried, and it was so close the whole game, but they answered my wish by at least taking it to a final game 7. Finals are always more entertaining that way.

Hey I'm from michigan, or the metro detroit area. Just so some of you know, there's a downriver cruise is this weekend 25-27 on fort st between southfield and sibley. I hope to see a alot of ss\redlines down there. There's going to be alot of my wicked street race buddies out there. I'm in the black srt4 with tinted windows and stage 2 sticker on the back. There's always some sick ass cars out and if you into cars well this is where is at. :D

Sucks i'm out of town this weekend, and next weekend. I love cruising Gratiot on friday/saturday nights.

Oh well, the $320 worth of fireworks will make up for it in a little over a week.

Hey all you metro detroit Cobalt SS / Ion Redline owners, I'm trying to get a little group of us together for a little cruise if you will, this friday night I'm thinking we could hit up gratiot then maybe shoot down 696 to see how fast we can go, if anyones interested send me an email to [email protected] to let me know when you will be available and where you wanna meet up..

Go down too Fort St in downriver, trust me tomorrow is going to be sick. Fuck gratiot go to fort st, between southfield & sibley, that's where it's at tomorrow, SAT, SUN. :) head down around 6-8 pm you'll see.

Who was the red SS racing me on 8 Mile in Detroit/Warren? I was in the black Red Line.

I ran into a kid in Mount Clemens who had a Red SS, he seemed pretty cool, he was in his early 20s. I wanted to race so bad this weekend, I went all over, hall rd, mound, van ****, 16 mile, grossbeck, and couldnt find anything. I went to Gratiot but that was BS, I raced off a roll (from about 20 or 25) against a couple cars (91 Talon Turbo FWD pushing 11 lbs) and smoked him, raced another talon (97 TSi AWD) and smoked him too, dont know how much he was boosting, the 91 talon was faster though, but anyways I couldnt find anyone that would race off the line (obviously cant race off the line on gratiot unless you want a ticket) and that was pretty much the only place I could find anyone. So do any of you guys here in Michigan know of any good spots to meet up to find people to race? Im not looking to race for cash or anything just for fun, I don't mind racing cars that Im going to loose to. I deffinetely wouldnt mind racing your Black Redline, if you wanna meet up sometime send me a PM or email me at [email protected] .

I decided to go cruising on friday, so i was tooling around in the SS for most of the night. Went out to 11mile and Inkster behind the 7-11 at about 10pm. Hung out there, then headed to Woodward. Left Woodward at 11:45 and headed to Gratiot, and proceeded to cruise until 1:45 when i got bored a left.

Ran with some guy who had an few year old bimmer 328i. Said he had some engine work done, and that his NOS was disconnected at the moment. Killed him pretty bad, so he swore the SS couldnt be stock.

Was just too hot that night. I was sweatin with all the windows down and the sunroof open.

Hey i think i "raced" that BMW also, was it 2 dudes in a red BMW which looked stock? If it was his car is pretty slow, I think all he must have done was put an intake on it... I saw him on gratiot arond 14 mile area heading away from the cruising area and he tried getting me to race so from a roll of about 45 i went up to about 80 and he was no where near me.. like 4 car lengths back...

I'm usually on Gratiot till about 1am then we move for the real racing. I haven't raced for money but some of these guys are aracing trailered cars for thousands. I won't be out for a couple of weeks due to back surgery but I'll shoot ya an email when I'm up to it again.

There's a few decent areas to find races at joy rd-telegraph(in the park area), city airport off french rd, and gratiot rd. I sometimes go to the Joy rd area, friday-saturdays are off the hook. My one buddy was telling me about this one spot, I have not went to yet, but is supposed to be private property and the owner is all about ripping shit up, I let you know after i check it out. :D

I haven't seen any racing at Joy and Telegraph this year. It looks like a bunch kids standing around talking shit waiting for the cops to break it up. Last year there was quite a bit just down Joy in Detroit when I had my STi.

I'm not going to give exact locations on a forum but I'll tell you that between midnight and 1am a lot of cars go north on Gratiot and on from there to a parking lot. Just keep your eyes open. If you see me in a black RL with the small spoiler and a "different" license plate, I'll let you know what's up.

Hey I was out cruising last night (Sunday night) around midnight and I came across about 3 or 4 Camaro's (various years) and a 5.0 making a few cruising rounds (on the normal gratiot crusing area between utica and 10 mile) and then they started heading north all the way till about 15 mile and they were all lined up at the light at 15 and gratiot and I was with them and was gonna run it with them when we spotted a cop, I turned down a side street and have no idea where they went from there, not sure if this was what you were talking about, no one stopped in a parking lot or anything like that but they were gonna gun it... i turned beacuse i had sped up to the light and was afraid the cop saw... and I was just tailing the guys, I didnt talk to them or anything like that... but anyways if you know of any good spots to actually meet up with people and then determine from there where some races are going to be please email me at [email protected] because I am very interested... and no im not a cop!
