Looks interesting I test drove a normal focus ST and it actually was decent.
As said that is the Euro focus, the US version is still dead in the water. Why Ford doesn't bring it over is beyond me. Untill then ford still is absent in the game.CoBIZZLE said:Are you serious?? That sucks!!!
Do you currently own a SVT Focus?? My friend Jesse had one and he let me drive it! Man I'm not big on hatchbacks but that thing could handle and had plenty of NA power and I absolutely LOVED the tranny!!! Those cars are DEFINITELY nice! I just don't understand why they quit makin em?!?! I say Ford needs to step back up and help the fight against the imports, not that I have anything against the imported vehicles, its just that there are too many of them.
that focus would sell so good here, honestly..Nocturn said:As said that is the Euro focus, the US version is still dead in the water. Why Ford doesn't bring it over is beyond me. Untill then ford still is absent in the game.
You MUST have had some sorta factory freak... If I recall correctly, they barely went over 170 hp (with a 2.7 L engine). I like the recent model's exterior though.creed44 said:the car was just a freak because i was racing this 350 elcamino and i smoked him 3 times, not just once, 3 times and he pulled up next to me when the road ended and was like what to you got in that thing and i said just a V6, he said nice, it put a smile on my face.
Interesting... I haven't even heard about that yet. Hmmm, even more competition!!!doomhammer said:I really want to see what the MAZDAspeed 3 is gonna be like... I heard some 220 hp and about $23,000.
Yea, I've walked both types of Tiburon's and I've yet to go after an SRT-4, never see 'em. Had one behind me yesterday in the snow/rain, but neither of us were in the mood to die. By all accounts though, the best chace I have is to keep close to his bumper until the road gets curvy and braking is required. I mean, there is around a 30-40hp difference from my Redline to the V6 Tiburon. I don't know how good of a driver the person in the newer v6 tiburon was, but it wasn't much of a race past 40mph. I assume they were racing, they revvied at me, squeaked the tires pretty hard, and sounded like it was winding out. By second gear though I was at least a car length ahead and pulling away.Scourge said:You MUST have had some sorta factory freak... But weird things happen. Yours must be a mutant.
I'm also not a big of V6's or V8s and large displacement. I'm the type of person that likes to rub in people's faces that I've got a smaller 4 cylinder engine and am still faster. Before, I wasn't a fan of turbos/SC either but that's starting to change as the competition has upped the ante.
Anyway, back to the Focus, yeah... It actually does look pretty nice. It kinda reminds me of the CRX though so maybe that's why. If it's only Euro, I agree that it should be brought over.
