So, I’m new getting into the car scene but recently me and my dad replaced the stick clutch in my 06 Cobalt ss/sc. now since then we’ve run into a few issues, in order to start the car we have to push the clutch to the floor like usual but when it comes to shifting, in order to engage the clutch you have to find a sweet spot instead of being able to engage just like with starting the car. We are stumped. Sorry this is such a long post

Sounds like there is air in the line. Besides bleeding it I'm guessing it's hydraulic clutch that uses Dot 3 fluid like mine. You should probably bleed the brakes too. That will get air out as well. If it takes Dot 3 like mine. You have to bleed them in a specific order. Or if you get a fancy air removal system/tools, what ever that entails..
