ok so here it is i just drove my car and the boost gauge is going psycho on me. its ocasionally spikeing up to 15 and even 20lbs on me now its not a constant thing but ovcasionally its doing it so does anyone got any ideas when the problem started i had switched out my airfilter to a AEM high flow before that it had the filter that came with the INJEN C.A.I. the car seems to be running fine i havent noticed any problems with the car so my guess is that the gauge is just about to take a dump on me. or perhaps i should get my car re-flashed but idunno any ideas out there....

man i dont' know why it would be doing that. i know that if your belt is loose it will slip and that would cause it to spike to 15 or 20. so check that........are you getting stage 2 from gm or what. because intense racing has a stage 5 for the same price as gm's 2. just a thought

why would a loose belt cause more boost? if anything it would cause less.... sounds like a bad MAP sensor to me. btw stage 2 from GM is easier/cheaper to install and you keep your warranty

yea i plan on getting the GMPP stageII actually i already got the money for i just wanna fix this problem before i do anything else to the car so how do you think i can fix it?

It could be a bad sensor just have it scanned to find out.

A clogged cat can also cause over boosting but who knows.
