  I have been hard time to find what wrong with my 2005 Cobalt LS when the my Cobalt won't start-up while in the early morning, raining came by, and cloudy while the PASSLOCK always turn on when I turned the Ignition key on and it showed the yellow light “PASSLOCK” or “SECURITY LOCK” one and only in the front instrument gauges.
Look at the below pix:>>--down..

The only one way to start-up when the sunny with over 85* hot weather makes inside the compartment hot and easily to start-up with shown the instrument lights all show-up.

I took my Cobalt to Chevy Dealer to explain about the situation. The service guy pointed at the starter; were on-off when the weather occur the early morning (damp), raining came by, and cloudy causing the starter sometime NOT start-up. So I replace to new one starter and still same problem.

It makes me hard thinking. I can't afford to take my Cobalt to Chevy Dealer to fix it again.. Will they find a solution next time?:( :(

Appreciate for feeding back.
Thanks, RedHiHeels.
