Hi I just registered because I saw that this looks like a good board to post questions on. I'm looking at a cobalt ss, neon srt-4 or a saturn redline. i have a 95 saturn sc2 with a lot of stuff done but I wanna go FI. Im leaning towards the cobalt because of the looks. but I heard a rumor that you might be able to get recaro seats in it? any truth in that? and also do you know if theres anyway to get the qhite gauges instead of the titanium ones?

yea i think thats what im leaning towards, but have you had problems with your srt-4? the only thing i really liked about that was that it had a turbo instead of a supercharger
The car so for is problem free, the only thing I would change is the
interior, I wished the SRT's had the same interior colors as the cobaltss.

I love turbo's more than superchargers.

yea i just like the sound of a bov better, but i guess if i get the ss and put a cone filter one it, it should sound good. is there any word on if you can get a new intake and have it put on w/o voiding the warranty? i know that with scions if you go to the dealer and get one through them and have them put it on, then its covered but a guy at hyundai told me that if i put an intake on a tiburon then it voids the whole powertrain warranty

Yea that's why you ask the dealer what mods will void the car's warranty. or just remove the air box ;)

that's why you keep the stock parts lying around, and if you have any major problems, you re-install them before taking it back to the dealer :D
Darn right that is what i plan on doing because once i get the car i will remove the air box or get a intake if avalible.

Warranty

Not to worry about warranty problems. With my experience on bolt ons you should never get coaxed into believing an intake will void your warranty. They have to prove your intake caused the problem for instance. If you suck in water with a CAI it's hard to explain. If you crack a rod an intake should not void the warranty.

Yeah that is true.
