srt4 owner here

I love it when car people can get along, regardless of what they own...

I'm a car guy, I like cars of all kinds...

Same here I too am a srt4 owner that cant wait to see how well these cars perform. Its gonna be fun to see how well they respond to aftermarket parts for sure. I know my friend who is getting one already has 5k to spend soon as he buys it on whatever he wants. Its going to be interesting for sure.

Please have him join ASAP as I would like to see some cobalt SS's respond with some great numbers.

Just curious, is there even $5k worth of aftermarket parts available for the SS? I'm aware of a redline header that is a possible option but have no idea as far as cost.

Yes we have a meet this saturday and will let him know about these forums. I dunno if there is 5k in mods you can do, but he is going to try and call around to see if there are any reliable companys that wouldnt mind making a turbo kit for the car.

Psi Fi motorsports is working on a Twin charging system for the SS.

Just kidding! I love the looks of the car. It even looks like you can get some pimped out interior in the car, which I am extremely jealous of!

It is great to see the domestic car companies getting more into the compact sports scene. Domestics rule!

Another SRT Forums veteran here, and I personally love the Cobalt SS, I love the way this car looks, and the price is very good, it's actually 2K cheaper than the SRT4 in Canada

I dont think this srt - cobalt will be friends for long. It is the Cevy vs. Dodge. I love it. this happened in late 60's early 70's and now it is happening again in the 2000's an 'Era reborn'! it is going sweet... ford doesnt have a car in the sport compact class that will even compete.

I like the Srt-4 but it is a four door i hate four doors sorry Srt-4 owners that is why i like the Cobalt SS.

All they have is a wanna be version of a car the used to make decently back in the 60's thats so tired and played out that it should have been made into glue a long time ago.

SRT owner here to. I agree. I am glad to see the domestic world coming up with something for the import world.

Yep let the wars begin, we as SRT-4 owners have had to battle haters from WRX/STI, EVO's RSX/s, Ford FUCKUS, and lots of imports, be prepared for the bashing guys......
