I went and got my car washed today and the manger there wanted to know how much horsepower does the SuperCharge put into the engine. I know it has 205-hp but is it 60-50-40-30????.. Anyone have any clue.. Oh ya I got my car back yesterday they had to replace the hole fuse box some wires were doing something to make the check engine light come on and also something to do the my fan too anyways when I get papers back I will post them on here...

I tryed to say it in the best way I could. You know how some cars have 350-hp but with a turbo it has 380-hp..

I read that the stock motor produces about 150-160 stock. This means the SC adds about 40 or 50 hp. I don't recall where i read it at but i'm pretty sure that's close.
If you do mean CRANK HP, then I'm guessing it would be around 240hp
240-14%=206

Well, there is no N/A 2.0 Ecotec variant so I will use the 2.4 vs. 2.0 S/C. So say 210 to the wheels x 1.16 *so you factor in drivetrain loss * = 243. The 2.4 put 170 at the Crank IIRC, therefore 170 at the crank x .84 (once again , this is for drivetrain loss) = 142. So It's about 100 more to the ground than the 2.4. Although I haven't seen a 2.4 dyno so I don't know if that is under/over rated HP claims.
Cobalt SS puts down 205whp.
210whp HAS been achieved with the RL, but most put down 205. I think there was ONE RL that made 215whp.
Like I said, around 240hp at the crank.

There have been multiple RL's putting down around 215WHP stock, moreso than 205 that I've seen. The only reason I've seen lower was because the dyno was done on a Mustang dyno instead of the Dynojet, or done in 4th gear (Vita on redlineforums.com), or someone was running way rich and made the cat go bad (Raven) but she still put 192WHP stock.KSE said:Cobalt SS puts down 205whp.
