I think all of us that are somewhat intelligent car enthusiasts can agree on the fact that the SRT-4 and the SS are both pretty sweet rides. I think we can also agree that all "reliable" sources (i.e. car magazines) and our own ability to do basic math (i.e. curb weight/whp) will tell us that the SRT-4 is a faster car. Boo-who-who, for all us SS owners. But most informed shoppers knew this fact when we bought our cars, and purchased them for different reasons. I personally liked the styling of the SS better and the fact that it had a bowtie on it.
With this said, can we maybe stay away from the “I smoked a viper” stories that everyone realizes are BS and maybe try to stick to some facts? None of this I ran a 13.9 but my dog at my time slip stuff?
Also, I feel it should be said that anyone with some drag experience who has traveled knows that depending on temp, elevation, humidity, track conditions, and driver, ETs in the 1/4 can be drastically different, so lets stop arguing over half a second here or there until we see some slips.
