think they'll replace?

Alright, I was washing the blown SS this evening and noticed there is a small chip in my passenger side front wheel...I've had the car for less than a week and have driven it about three times, very conservatively, and I don't recall ever going onto any roads w/ gravel or debris. I really think this was there already when I bought the car (just failed to probe around). I highly doubt the dealership will replace it, but I'd thought I'd get some opinions anyway...

My buddy's Dodge dealer replaced a factory defective wheel at around 10k mi. GM may do good for ya. I'd expect them to go along easy with you.

That kind of thing should have been found in their PDI inspection after the carrier unloaded it.
It's worth a shot! Thats for sure... Just be firm when walking up there, and don't second guess yourself while asking them or they will try and take advantage!
hey the same thing happened to my wheel. let me know if they replace yours because i just figured it to be a lost cause. but if they do it then im getting my ass over to the dealership

Must be a common thing, I found a chip in the DS frt rim before I picke it up, told em wouldnt pick it up till it gets replaced, took 10 days to get the new rim direct from Lordstown assy, but they replaced it :)
I went there this morning...they tried to give me the run around and say i probably did it without knowing, but I was firm and told them I wanted it fixed...so on Monday I get a new wheel.
My bumper had a scrape on the front where paint is gone, do you think the dealer should repaint it?
I got a nail in my tire 5 days (around 250 miles) after I got mine, couldn't be patched. My dealer just shrugged their shoulders and blew me off.

But a friend of mine had gotten a big gouge in one of the rims on his G35 only days after he bought it at a car wash. He went to the dealer to order a new one (the car wash refused to do anything), and the dealer offered to replace it no charge, no problem. I guess it all depends on the dealer (or maybe brand, since his is an Infinity)
I have at least 1 chip already and the car has less than 1000 miles. I think chevy might of hired "special" people to apply the gun metal coating. I am pretty sure the rims will turn out to be shit in the future. You might want to look into after markets
if you have a chip in your rims, take it to your dealer and get them to replace it , u just got a new car, it shouldn't have chips in the paint or the rims, as for the nail in the tire, that isn't waranty
