Two-tone Recaro seats???

Hi guys...

I'd like to get the performance upgrades available with the performance package, but I really really like the two-tone leater to match the exterior color that comes with the standard seat. Is the two-tone leather seat still available if I get the performance package with the Recaros? If not... I might have to leave off the performance package and put an aftermarket LSD on myself...

Or you can go ahead and get the recaros and trade them for my two-tone (black w/red inserts) :D

I haven't sat in the Recaros, but they have to be more comfortable than the two-tones. They're as hard as a rock. Last week I drove my SS/SC over 2300 miles (FL to IN and back) and I still can't feel my a$$...
the recaros ar the most comfotable seat ive sat in
I'm sure you would have no problem trading someone your Recaros for the standard seats.

The Recaro seats are more firm than the standrad seats. They are supposed to be that way because they are more of a racing seat.

Interesting... I wonder what the weight difference is between the seats.

Obviously I want the Recaro seat, but I wish it was available with the two-tone inserts. By these responses, I am guessing that isn't available, huh? :(
You could also just keep the Recaro seats and take them to an auto upholstery place and have colored leather inserts put in- that's what I would do anyway. It would probably not be too expensive - maybe a few hundred bucks.

With the performance package... do the rest of the color inserts (like in the door panels) still come on the car?

That would be a good idea if the two-tone inserts are in other places on the interior... but if the door panels are all balck as well, then that wouldn't work so well...
The door panels are black as well with the Recaro's

This is bang on the money. Seriously. Get the performance package, and sell your Recaros for some other guy's two-tone seats + a couple hundred bux. You'll find someone to trade you no problem. Then you get your LSD, two-tone seats, plus a couple hundred extra bucks. :D

But no color inserts in the doors :(

I think best way to go is basic package with an aftermarket LSD.

Are there different sway bars/springs in the performance package as well? Or is it just seats and LSD?
I think the best way to go would be to order the perf package, bein it would be SO expensive aftermarket and go to the dealership and order some door panels with the inserts like you accidentally scuffed yours or somethin. ;)

That would be cheaper than buyin the aftermarket LSD altogether AND you would get better seats... and like somebody said earlier you could always restitch them.
