Just wonderin what everybody is/was ridin before the Cobalts. Mine is a 1999 2.2L S-10 5-spd. I plan on keepin it when I get my SS and swap out the two for daily drivers to keep mileage down on both. The S-10 will hopfully be on the recieving end of an LS1 and T56 donor one day :D

Right now I'm driving a red SS/SC, but I was driving a '98 Grand Prix GTP.

Still haven't sold the GTP yet, lots of people have called about it, but no one has actually shown up to look, yet. Have someone coming in around 2:30 eastern today, hopefully they will actually show up and maybe buy it. I'm paying on 3 vehicles right now (including my work van)!

Question which is faster? GTP (stock?) or SS?

The SS is noticeably faster. The GTP, which is only offered in a 4-speed automatic, 0-60 is 6.8 sec. All I've done to the GTP is slap a K&N Filter in it, so yeah, might as well say it's stock. But the GTP does seem to have better passing power on the highway, though. A friend of mine who has a 2001 Corvette borrowed it for a few days while his Vette was in the shop. He brought it back to me very impressed, and even considered selling the Vette and buying my GTP (mostly because he was tired of making payments on the Vette, though :p ).
