Just curious what other people are planning on doing to this already beautiful car as far as mods go.

I plan (in order) to tint the windows to 35% all the way around, then cold air intake followed by catback system. Whenever gravana is finished and they put out a turbo kit for it perhaps twincharging it. What are your thoughts?

ASAP Jet black tint all the way around. Intake and exhaust from header back. A throttle body as soon as one is released! And Im not sure on a pulley yet cause GM might release a pulley/ ECU reflash combo so I might wait on that...

Got 5% window tint all the way around on mine including 35% on the front window. next comes Intake and Exhaust. Soon as i get some clear answers about pulleys i will get on of those also. We need to get the SS owners together and see if SCdyne will do a group purchase on headers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you are right about the headers! Aftermarket parts arent gonna be made fast enough for this car. I think that all owners are really excited about this car. They will be the badest compacts on the road.

According to personal correspondence with Gravana, the twincharge system will not be offered retail due to cost. Due to the location of the supercharger, I don't think installing headers will be a wise venture. The flow from the stock manifold coupled with good aftermarket cat back should see good gains.

What do you mean "due to the location of the supercharger" The blower is up front and the manifold is on the back of the engine? Why would a header not be a "wise venture"?

Ive got superwhite headlights, fog lights already on the way as well as Oem style drop in filters from K&N on the way for our project car, as well as to keep in stock. Pictures and dyno results coming soon !

Remove the Wing, Tint, Snow Tires on the stock wheels and stock tires on new wheels. That should be it.

Do you have any pictures of your car so I can see the difference 5% makes?

i dont have any pics (that can be put on the puter but i wil get some today) Just IMO I love the 5% and the two side windows i got two layers of 5% put on those so you cant see in them at all! the only disadvantage i can say that i dont like is backing up in a tight place at night is a bitch!!!!! Other than that, it looks great, keeps the car a LOT COOLER in the sun, dosent allow others to see you going down te road, dosent allow as much UV rays to reach the interior and fade the plastic/leather!! A++++++++++++ wouldnt have anything else on my cars. But, i will get some pics so you can make your own opinion.

parts are never made fast enough for new cars. I (srt-4 owner) got mine in Dec. of 03, its an 04, and there weren't many parts out for it then. Make sure whatever parts you guys get have enough R+D so there aren't probs later. I have a prob with my intake...now i wish i would have waited and saved $200, i didnt even need an intake bc we have a really good stock intake. Just my .02...make sure you know the pros and cons before u get it.

This is the first year production of the CSS. I would say by the time the next years start rolling off the assembly lines there will be many people waiting to throw stuff at them.

That or wait for Ray to give you all a smile once he gets things rolling.
