yeah they worked great. i really wish i had befor pictures its like takin a car thats 15 years old thats never been washed ever and puting it next to a show car thats how much of a change it was. my mother got home. and litterly her jaw droped. she was like "do u enjoy doing that stuff. Me - hell yeah love takin a car thats in that bad of shape and making it brand new . wih my car i dont get that satisfaction due to the fact i maintain it so it doesnt really change lol. shes like u should get a job at a dealer ship doing that then or something and quit ur job thats killin ur body haha. but i felt a huge amount of acomplishment lol. i tore one of the clay bars in half lets just say i doubt ill be able to use it again its more black than white lol. and then sometime this weeekend sandys geting her first polish / wax job maybeee. but yeah i recomend them that took a car that sat for sooo long and had about a half inch to some places an inch of grit on it that was bonded to the paint. and made it smooth and shine like it just got painted.

I always wash my car....

Sadly, it has sat at the dealer for 2 weeks getting a new transmission put in under warranty and they didn't wash it. All their dust accumulated on the top of the car so it looks like crap. But soon my friends, it will be washed and I will take day and night pictures so that I can finally be satisfied. And most of the time, I power wash it without soap and it does just fine, doesn't leave any rag lines or any of that stuff. Then I grab a soft towel to rub the liquid wax in to finish off.

Good job on the wash OP.

I recommend you purchase a cheapo electric leaf blower, can be found at walmart, sears, lowes, a lightweight 150mph unit, or a cordless though those will cost more. After you are done washing your car and rinsing to get excess water off, hit it with the leaf blower, then, after drying with the leaf blower, get a micro fiber dry towel and dry whatever the leaf blower left, this minimizes how much you touch the paint and lessons the oppertunity to scratch and swirl the paint.... any and all microfiber towels MUST have any tags removed from them.
