Is this a GM engine?? The dealer told me the non SC engine was made by Honda.. :confused: Also, anyone know the other major differences (other than motor) between SS and regular Cobalts?? Thanks.

im pretty sure its not a honda engine the only car to use the honda engine is the Saturn Vue V6 i think.
The dealership told u this man i think thats the problem witg GM, there trying to say the engine has the reliebility of a honda maybe?

No, I m sure the salesmen told me the engine was made by Honda and not just making a comparison. someone will have to look into this a little further. :confused:

Opel is GM owned too. Or you just saying that Opel was the first car to have the engine? At any rate it's a gm engine whether it was design by a GM employee in Germany or American or Australia, ect.

ECO made in New York, GM product. The saleman recanted his story after doing some research.So many companies share and make parts for other companies that it s hard to keep track.
