this doent not include track just street.

id have to say my best one was against a procharged camaro SS. it was wicked fast. we didnt do it from dig cause of traction issues from both of us lol instead we did a 40 roll still a bit of traction problems but was fine. the first one he won but barely and that because my engine was hot from previous races, but once my meth cooled my SC down enough to get full boost at 3grand i was doin alot better. i ended up about a half car in front after we hit 180 ( that was our cutoff speed to end the race) so we were 1-1 and did one more and the second time i got a bumper on him. it was a good race comendable i must say and fun. the camaro SS had mild cams and a procharger kit and exhaust

bull shit... sorry a CAMMED/bolt-on LS1 Camaro with a tune would shit all over you, a procharged/cammed LS1 :D

get fucking real, I'm not one to call anyone out but you DO REALIZE that is a 500whp car, right? and from a roll :D

I have a nitrous fed/tuned LS1 trans am, I am fairly confident I would spank your Cobalt, a Cammed/bolt-on/tuned LS1 f-body and I would be a good race(still think I would win that one though)... A procharged f-body would walk me....terribly....

if you would have mentioned you beat it from a stop, well, it still would have been a "you beat the driver, not the car" situation, but from a roll... unless he missed every damn gear in the pull, you can feed that bull shit to someone else.... Because that Camaro would be neck and neck with a Kenne Bell Terminator Cobra

you going to tell us about walking the C6 Zo6s on drag radials with your 11 second Cobalt that you have absolutely no proof of(its times) next???

I mean seriously how much whp is you car putting down??? unless you are packing about 425whp(which you aren't) you need to lay off the crack pipe before you start talking about beating cammed/procharged LS1 f-bodies:

bolt-ons only, those cars lay down in the 375whp range

cam/bolt-ons around 425-450whp

H/C & bolt-ons can range from around 440whp to around 530whp

Cammed/With a procharger: with the supporting mods and a conservative tune(i.e. very streetable) around 500whp, once again could be in the 525-550whp... think about that, your >350whp Cobalt is not beating that car "from a roll," it would be schooled unmercifully

that is about as nice as I can be about it... here is my car, for example(3.73s, 3200 stall, lid, 150 shot, Drag radials, gutted cat(has since been fixed) and at the time no tune, this was one of the 1st times I ever sprayed the car):

http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e74/2004PontiacGTP/Videos/?action=view&current=TheTransAm0-150.flv

(sprays 2nd and 3rd only) and that was prior to my tune when I still had the CEL from running a gutted cat(low efficiency bank).... have since went with a high flow cat instead(hated the sound of the gutted cat) and though I never ran at the track with nitrous untuned and tuned to compare... All motor prior to the tune, my best 1/8th mile e.t. was a 8.2xxx, with the tune all motor I got it down to 8.0xxx, so really, the nitrous probably gained that much more(since it was tuned for the spray)... with the pill, 7.52 through the 1/8th, i'm guessing you AREN'T running 7.5s through the 1/8th, a procharged Camaro, yeah he'd be in the fucking 6s

Like I said, I don't want to hate on your parade but at least be a little realistic... in that same breath my Trans Am took out a turbo Hayabusa yesterday on I65, we started at 65 and I backed out at 195 with a nose on him....

never mind that my car was pretty much pegged out at 150 in the video I posted(thanks 3.73s, lol), I did a quick change at the service station to my stock 2.73s just for that run...

hey I can play too

I don't think he realizes what it would take to get 500whp out of an ecotec with a blower, fuck that would be hard to do right now with a turbo(in a street application)

you would still be hard pressed to make 500whp with a blower and an ecotec, with that mod list... once again, I don't think you realize what it takes to make 500whp out of an Ecotec... not to say there aren't some high-output Ecotecs, but they are turbo and most still make less than 500whp... And here is a no brainer, why wouldn't you have pics of your build PRIOR to going to Iraq? I mean if I have $5-10k dumped in my car, you best believe I would have pics of the build... As far as your build, prior to the head job, cams, and valve job, you were looking at what 275-285whp(and that is being generous)... do you REALLY think a new head, some cams, and a valve job added 225whp??? get fucking real

since you mention the Ecotec build book, I too have seen it, and guess what is on the cover, a nice big snail(turbo)..........damn

If I had that kind of money to throw at a car I would have picked a better platform.

just post your "around 500hp" dyno numbers sheet, I am sure that if you did all that , you surely got a print out of the dyno?! That would end the critiques.

The OP doesn't have what he claims.

First off, DSS makes Satge 2 axles, not a stage 4. So unless they are custom one-offs, you missed that boat. The GM build book which is avail on line via PDF, shows how to build a 300hp LSJ. BUT the 400, 600, 1000, 1200 hp applications are on the 2.2 ecotec and have nothing to do with the blower from the LSJ. So you bored your motor to a 2.2, that's commendable. But, without swapping to a turbo (a big turbo) you will NEVER make more than 300-ish hp from the m62. Ported head and compression change may break 300, but not 400. Not by a long shot w/o nitrous. Now tell us you have nitrous and I'll say you're story is possible and likely. But, sorry man, didn't happen on the m62 w/o spray. The blower, even with meth and a ported head, just can't do it.

that race Cobalt that runs 6s also has a suspension setup that cost more than your fucking car... But obviously some ghetto $300 Afro Engineered shit is better, lol

you don't have 500whp, you don't have 400whp... I doubt you have 300whp

you represent everything a fucking ricer is....

riced out Cobalt(visual), unrealistic horsepower(500whp with a fucking M62), and cheap ass mods...

"yeah I have $5000+ of mods in my car, but I have $300 suspension"

heres a no brainer........i sent my car out of state to get the work done on it! do u really think a town of 50000 people would have a performance shop that could do all that? the pics i do have are of my cams and valvetrain cause that was something they could do in house and even then i still had to go to the dealership to get the correlation timing set. so if i work in one state and send my car to another do u think i could have taken pics remember i work for a living here just cant take time off whenever. didnt think so and btw ur right it is a snal on that cover and it is also an ECOTEC too. the ECOTEC engine has been built to be 1400hp. so u can shut it about ECOTECs. and yes with that list i make near 500whp didnt say i did i said i made over 500 to the crank. i make about 489whp (that was my last dyno run) my friend that is putting in my new final drive will dyno it again once that is done. and if u think me pushing 24psi tuned only running 285hp ur fuckin retarded. and here i thought u were actually smart. and believe it or not a new head increases hp by 19% so there is a nice little jump in hp i might say. then add in the cams, the bore and stroke that was done theres a nice little jump oh and btw did u know my meth/water kit gives me another 98whp? i bet u would have know if u wold have read some of my other posts on this forum.try to keep up hun ill slow down if u need me too.:p

one thing u are right about. the blower is maxed out so is the car after this basically nothing else will make it faster really, unless i gut it completely. ok so im tired of argeing my point now really its childish for both of us im just here to have fun and meet and greet people. it gets fuckin bored sittin here on 24 hour shifts lol.

Sorry, but by just watching the race, you are no where near 489whp:rolleyes: .
I would love to run your "beast", off hom.

u go from nice kill to you dont have 500hp to ok you do but its impracticle.....

is it really that imprcticle? the race cobalt is FWD and runs 6s on the 1/4......yes ur right i dont have any i have homemade metal beams that go on my back suspension. all u do is jack up the ass end of the car let the suspension stretch out then i put in a metal beam (that has fittings on the ends and clips) so that when i lower the car it will take the pressure of the springs and put it on the beams. basically like havin noe suspension in the back so when u launch the weight of the car doesnt shift to the ass end. when im done on the track i take them out. it only raises my ass end 1 inch higher than when im sitting on suspension. those beams cost me about 300 do make plans and test out different ones i made where as most suspension for a cobalt is for twisties and is expensive plus i dont know too much about suspension
who am i to say you did or didnt beat said car? Also, i thought you put somewhere in your post that it could be with any car, hence my gt500 kill, obviously not in my cobalt. After reading your posts, i just realize how full of shit you are. I dont think there is one cobalt that is at 500hp. Hell, i only know of two above 400hp, both of which have custom turbo set ups. The m62 is not the greatest sc in the world, youll find that out when you have to replace it from over-reving it with that 2.5"
