Don't you have a button to turn the traction light on and off??
If you do, when you see that light, push the button and see what happens. It stays on saying that it is turned off. So burnouts are easier to achieve. If that doesn't help, then there is an electrical problem somewhere in that system....
well i might have to take it in, the only time its on is when i have the ebrake on, then i put it down and it might go off, it seems like it might be a electrical problem like you said.
different car, but on my 2008 Caliber SRT, the traction light came on, stayed on, threw the car into limp mode.... the fix was cleaning the thr***le body...
the cam position sensor causing the traction light to stay on?
