my 2007 ss traction light stays on all the time, i use to see it on when the ebrake was up but now i see it stay on all the time, i dont no if it matters it is automatic.

Don't you have a button to turn the traction light on and off??
If you do, when you see that light, push the button and see what happens. It stays on saying that it is turned off. So burnouts are easier to achieve. If that doesn't help, then there is an electrical problem somewhere in that system....

different car, but on my 2008 Caliber SRT, the traction light came on, stayed on, threw the car into limp mode.... the fix was cleaning the thr***le body...
